Report 001: It has been a few weeks since we've arrived into this world, and I still have yet to find even a clue as to how to leave this place. While the only danger I can sense are from the inhabitants themselves, it is relief that there are no monsters or demons within the village or the city.

However, though there is a barrier around the city that protects it from the desert beyond, I have to wonder how stable it really is. From what I could tell, it seemed more like a sort of magic seal. While the power is great, I can already sense that there is some degradation within it. It is still strong enough to withstand any potential attacks that may be brought upon it, but I fear it will not last for a great length of time.

So long as there are no powerful monsters outside of the barrier that try to attack, we should all be safe, but I will continue to further investigate the nature of this barrier. The cards that the store provides also makes me curious as to how the nature of this barrier works. It is certainly not any art I have ever encountered, and it is far greater than the powers of the Dragon Lord Lykouleon and Demon Lord Nadil combined. Whoever created this must have been quite powerful...and for it to have been created in the first place is also something I must look into.

I hope that my earlier suspicions will never be put to the test. However, if the worst indeed happens, I feel that there are several capable fighters within Somarium who will be able to defend themselves and perhaps others. Though, our numbers have increased slightly since our first arrival, we are still but a handful. If a full onslaught occurred, or some other disaster chanced upon us, I do not know how we will fare. Death is still a mystery, as well. For if this is indeed a "dream world", technically no one should be able to die. Yet one can still feel pain and become critically injured. Not knowing all of these circumstance as well as the potential dangers is still unsettling, and I have to explore every area.

Kitchel, however, has proved useful somewhat in that regard. I just wish she would stop running all over the place looking for treasure. While I am confident she can handle herself well enough, having another person to worry about does not help ease my mind. I am also unsure as to why she insists on me joining her in her endeavors. Save for utilizing my skills in case some danger arises. So long as she remains safe, I suppose I will have to continue following her and hope she does not get herself killed by some freak accident.

Other inhabitants may have already learned some information regarding this world or are in the process of doing so. Perhaps I shall ask of them to share their findings with everyone and contain it within a local source for everyone to access. Perhaps through the use of these Dreamberries or some other machine. There is a lot of technology within this world that I still have yet to have a full understanding about, though several people seem to have knowledge about them. While I am not unfamiliar with the notion of there being different worlds, I never imagined them to be quite like this.

However, despite not being a native to this world, I have, though unwittingly, become a part of it. After having already lived through several wars, keeping this seemingly already peaceful world as it is has become one of my priorities. And I will not hesitate to act if needed.
